ABOUT THE INDUSTRY SOCIAL

ABOUT THE INDUSTRY SOCIAL

Now celebrating its 22nd year, Project Mayhem Industry Social stands as one of Miami Music Week’s most iconic breakbeat and bass gatherings. Born from a simple idea - bring the entire breakbeat industry together during the chaos of Winter Music Conference in a relaxed, house-party-style environment - the event was created by Geo Lopez (G$Montana of GN) and Michael Lauzardo (DJslip187 / MALO, owner of Gigabeat Records) to spark real conversations, real connections, and real community.
What started as an industry hangout has grown into a cornerstone of Miami’s bass culture. Over the years, Project Mayhem has hosted the biggest names in the genre, including DJ Icey, Stanton Warriors, Marten Hørger, Worthy, Deekline, Left/Right, The Freestylers, Scratch-D (Dynamix II), Monk, Infiniti, and many more - alongside cross-genre heavyweights like John B, DJ Mea (formerly of Lords of Acid), Heavygrinder (Marie Vaunt), Reid Speed, Exodus, Freestyle Evolution, Christian Martin and others.
Now entering its biggest year yet, Project Mayhem continues to be the place where legends link up, new partnerships form, and the future of breakbeat and bass music is shaped - all with that original laid-back, industry-house-party vibe.
